Here is how you can get involved:

Bring a Team: Community groups and local, baseball organizations are invited to assemble and register a team for the event by clicking here.  Come out and play a game according to the 1838 rules. Games will start at 1:00pm on the museum’s grounds and are open to all ages.

Coordinate a Booth: Community groups, not-for-profits and other cultural associations in Oxford County are invited to participate by setting up an information booth, a refreshments stand or a pop-up exhibit for visitors. Register to participate through our website by clicking here or by calling (519) 423-6497.

Share the News:  Leading up to the event, we will be posting event details and updates on Facebook and Twitter. Join the conversation, share your favourite baseball memories with us, or invite your friends.

Make a Donation: Can’t make it on June 6th but still want to commemorate the 182nd anniversary of baseball’s first-recorded game? Make a donation to support the preservation and restoration of baseball artifacts at Beachville District Museum, or contact us about providing an in-kind donation. Sponsorship opportunities are also available by sending an email to curator.bdm[at]execulink.com!
