On Tuesday, November 8th at 7 p.m., the Beachville and District Historical Society's Speaker Series continues with the story of Mervin Simmons, an Oxford County farm boy who escaped from three WWI German prisoner of war camps, with a little help from his family and an Oxford County cheese.
